On October 1, 2010, Inc.com posted a story of John Vechey, founder of PopCap Games company, an American video game developer and publisher, based in Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

The success story of the company was started with how John Vechey, the college dropped out guy started his wok on a computer game with his pal Brian Fiete. They started the PopCap company in 2000 and this year is on track to bring in $100 million. PopCap employs more than 300 and has offices in Shanghai, Seoul and Dublin, with studios in San Francisco, Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia. Bejeweled, the company’s flagship game which first developed in 2001 has sold out more than 50 million units across all major platforms. Until now, it already released up to four version, Bejeweled in 2001, Bejeweled 2 in 2004, Bejeweled Twist in 2008 and Bejeweled Blitz in 2010.
