Google has launched the Google Maps Indonesia, a local platform of searching app that will help Indonesia internet user to find a geographical information, such as online map, satellite images, driving direction guide, addresses and also company list, directly in your PC or cell phone.
As reported, on October 6, 2010, the Head of Product Management Google South East Asia, Andrew McGlinchey in Jakarta announced that Google Maps Indonesia has launched officially and available to serve Indonesia internet user.
“User can easily search and find the information of any desired location, at anytime and anywhere. Just go to the website : maps.google.co.id and type in the keyword”, explained Andrew.
This Indonesia local platform of Google Maps was expected to be the most richest in content and the most relevant for location searching surroundings Indonesia.
