Koprol is a mobile community, where people meet, interact and build conversation based on location. Koprol has an expanding directory of places where you as the user can "check-in" and trade comments, sharing photos and reviews, with friends and others within your environment.
Bearing the mission of helping user to discover new and exciting people and places in the world, Koprol is designed for people in Asian cities. It has a well-moderated database of places. It works on any phone browser and doesn't require GPS.
Who are behind Koprol ?
Based in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta, Koprol was founded and developed by several talented computer geeks from Indonesia. Among the list, Fajar Budiprasetyo, as the CEO, who started his career at Silicon Valley after the graduation in Computer Science from Ohio State University, and Satya Witoelar, a freelance web designer with ten years of experience as the Chief Creative Officer.
Joining the community, there are several rules you have to comply with as stated in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Don't be mean, destructive or annoying, don't be spammy and self-serving, don't be abusive, with phishing, trolling, harassment or hate, don't hide behind anonymity, and no pornography material allowed are amongst the things you should aware of.
