Leads by the cigarette maker, here is the list of Indonesia’s 40 Richest Year 2010

On December 2, 2010, Forbes Indonesia released the list of Indonesia’s 40 Richest year 2010.

Ranked at #1 of the list was Robert Budi Hartono and his brother Michael Hartono, the owners of one of the biggest clove cigarettes corporation in Indonesia, Djarum, with the net worth of US$11 billion. As reported by Forbes, brothers Budi and Michael inherited clove cigarette maker Djarum from their father but these days get bulk of their fortune from Bank Central Asia, country’s largest private bank, which returned to ranks of Forbes Fab 50 this year.

Following was another cigarette maker richest, Susilo Wonowidjojo, the president director and owner of PT Gudang Garam, Indonesia’s largest clove cigarette maker who spotted at the second place with net worth of US$8 billion.

Eka Tjipta Widjaja, the founder of Sinar Mas Group and well-known from his palm oil plantation business and also the president commissioner of Bank Internasional Indonesia, ranked at #3 by Forbes with the net worth of US$6 billion.
